Welcome to DVOREC

My journey as a carpenter started in the Czech Republic, my home country. I devoted my entire education to wood and its processing until my Bachelor´s degree. Throughout the process, I combined practical experience in interior design and classical joinery with technical knowledge to sketch the projects, use both traditional and new techniques, use new materials sustainably, including the rest, and reuse the already produced ones and make them shine again. This complex approach requires continuous learning, creativity and passion. 

In 2016, I moved to Canada for over two years, where I spent most of my time working for Brent Comber´s Origin studio in Vancouver, which provided a unique opportunity to work with whole trees and big pieces of timber. The company focused mainly on wooden art, work which was distributed all over the world. I moved to Brussels in 2018 and have been involved in the restoration and production of historical wooden replicas.

Since mid-2023, I have been working independently. For bigger projects, partnerships with other colleagues are necessary, that is why I am extremely grateful, that I met over the years in Brussels reliable colleagues which enabled me to accept both small clients as well as bigger projects.

Currently, I am mainly engaged in restoration, however, based on my professional history, I can work on very different things from the interior (furniture, doors, glass, lockers, stairs) and the exterior perspectives (doors, windows, terraces, exterior furniture,...).
